1. When was the band formed? Where are you based?
The band was formed in 2023. Our first rehearsal was on December 30. We are based in Yerevan.

2. How did you come up with the idea of a band? Why Xaytarak?
One day, I realized I wanted to play something more punk, like crossover or crust. So, I texted Vardrigar, saying, "Hey bro, do you want to play some good shit with d-beat?" He replied, "Sure." I then called Tormentor because I knew he played guitar, and he immediately agreed. I suggested calling the band "Xaytarak." This word is very similar to what "punk" originally meant—an offensive term for antisocial elements. Plus, there are crazy activists here who think it's normal to humiliate people who don't live by their rules, who want to be themselves. Yes, we're Xaytaraks, so what?

3. Who are the members? What do you do other than music?
There are four of us now: me (Akella) on bass and backing vocals, Vardrigar on drums, Tormentor on guitar, and Crustorious B.F.G. as lead vocals. Other than music, we enjoy drinking beer.

4. How would you define the genre of the band?
It's complicated. One day, ask Crustorious B.F.G. about this—he's a professor of genreology. I think it's just d-beat with some mysterious guy hardcore.

5. What bands inspire you, or what bands do you listen to on a daily basis?
We all listen to a wide range of genres. It's interesting because we sometimes use elements from our favorite songs, mixing them into our music. You can hear that Vardrigar is a big fan of grindcore, Tormentor nails solos, I'm into thrash and hardcore, and Crustorious B.F.G. has a background in the noise scene.

6. How does the music-making process go? Are there special roles, like someone writes music, someone writes lyrics?
I mostly come up with the music, but this isn't a strict rule. We bring everything together well, and ideas are generated on the go. Crustorious B.F.G. wrote the lyrics to some songs, and I write them too. We understand each other very well, so it all works out naturally.

7. What songs are your personal favorites?
- Tormentor: "Flight of the White Crow"
- Vardrigar: "Wall Street Terrorist" and "Flight of the White Crow"
- Crustorious B.F.G.: "Drunk and Dumber"
- Me (Akella): "Go Away" and "Intro (Xaytarak)"

8. What are the plans for the future?
Album recording and other epic projects.

9. How can people support the band?
